Chinese Duck and Ducklings

As we were on a walk a few days ago,
my granddaughter and I stumbled on this Chinese duck
and her ducklings.

Upon seeing us,
the mother's first thought was to take her babies
away from danger!

The twelve little ducklings appeared to line up in couples,
as they followed their mother to safety.
I guess that's where the saying came from
about having "all your ducks in a row"!

This momma duck reminded me of one of God's promises to us
in Psalm 91 that says,
"He will cover you with His feathers.
He will shelter you with His wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection."

Have you got all "your ducks in a row" today?!!!
I've got a few I'm working on!

  10. I need less ducks to get in a row. The end of the school year is so hectic. Sweet picture of Gods promises...and funny looking ducklings.
