| My search for the bird that was making such loud threatening noises ended yesterday when I found this little guy. I guess he or she must have a nest near my back deck, because the noise starts up every time I let my dog out in the back yard. I believe it's a wren, but I surely didn't know they could make a raucous noise like that. ...A grackle or blackbird maybe, but surely not a wren! |

| I have another little wren, and she sings all the time...even when she's sitting on her nest in the small birdhouse in my apple tree. She looks much smaller in size than the one in my back yard, and she doesn't seem to mind having me nearby. |

| This little bird perched on my feeder, on and off for several days. I think he (or she!) is either sick or blind, ...or maybe both. I believe it's a female house finch, but I'm not sure. I was concerned she might have "bird flu"... |

He says if He takes care of the birds of the air,
surely He will take care of us.
When I'm having a tough day,
I need to remember that!
