Cancer Fights and Flights!

It was a lovely day for a flight...

My husband was privileged to have a flight in this plane.
His pilot was Blogger Jim Davis, Cancer Survivor,

and new author of a book in the making.

Jim has used this plane for a unique mission.
You can find photos and his newsworthy story by clicking HERE,
and then click HERE for the report when his objective was completed.

And, NO! ...In case you were wondering,
although we have had to face the cancer-fight
with several family members,
very thankfully,
neither my husband nor I have had to face that challenge!
However, my sis Alice, is presently staring that giant in the face.
She has done some blogging in the past.
You can find one of her poems  HERE.
Prayers for her and her family are solicited and appreciated!

Happy Spring and Happy Easter!

"May the God of HOPE
fill you with all joy and peace
as you trust in Him,
so that you may overflow with HOPE
by the power of the Holy Spirit."
Romans 15:18

Thanks for your visit!
Rock4Today should have a new Name for God posted soon,
so check back later, okay?

Peach Blossoms

It's Peach Blossom time in North Central Arkansas!

Linking up with NCSue for Wordless Wednesday!

To see my Names of God on Rocks for this week,

Wednesday, March 9, 2016

I couldn't believe my eyes...
I saw this guy across the yard...

I was trying to get a good photo,
when this one came zooming in,
and landed on the peach tree that is about 15 or 20 feet
away from my kitchen window.

The red on its head was different from the other one.
They must be a pair,
and this one must be the female!

Before she flew away she seemed to look directly
at me in the window!

Then this yellow bellied sapsucker came.
They had been very elusive...

...and I had never been able to get a very good photo of them.
I got a few photos in a post two years ago
that you can see by clicking HERE.

And sure enough...
Check out that breast...
It does have a yellowish tinge!

Thanks for dropping by!
