Some of you have great Farmville Crops! This morning I read this verse from the Bible that made me think of you: "The one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the Word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown." (Matthew 13:23)
Even in Farmville, you have to work hard to get good crops. If that moment goes by that you haven't tended your crop, it leads to crop failure and you have to "plant" all over again.
Well, thinking about Farmville and the work it takes to keep up with made me think about my own life - made me wonder about my life and how productive it is, how "my crops" are growing and producing.
My granddaughter just got up; she's spending the weekend with me. I guess that's my place to plant seed today! So, until next blog...

have fun with your granddgt and thank you for your post. I love how you related it to farmville.
I so relate to the Farmville thing. I was deeply involved in the Farm Town. I got way too consumed with planning my life around planting and harvesting I had to get off the game altogether. I realized I needed to be sowing and harvesting in reality for the Lord. I don't miss Farmtown. I love doing the Lord's work. Thanks for sharing a great analolgy. God bless, Dr. Bobbi
I don't do Farmville. Tried it for awhile but really didn't get into it. I also don't have any grandchildren, but if I did I would love to plant some seed there. I read your information on your sidebar. We have lots of books. I just asked my hubby if we had yours. He had one with a similar name but it was not your book. I would like to read it. I think it is great you are blogging. I've been doing that for 3 years now and cannot imagine my life without it. I'm also glad you chose to share with us on Spiritual Sundays.
Blessings,
Charlotte
